About this service

Why choose this service?

Every measured survey we produce starts with a registered point cloud — a three-dimensional record of the building accurate to ±3mm. Every drawing is checked against that cloud before it leaves us. Nothing is estimated, assumed or scaled from an old drawing. Architects use our surveys as the foundation for remodelling and extension projects. Engineers rely on them for structural calculations. Planning authorities accept them for listed building and development applications. When accuracy matters, the methodology matters.

The process

How it works.

We establish control
Before scanning begins, we set up a surveyed control network using a total station — a series of fixed reference points that tie every measurement together into a single consistent coordinate system.
We scan
The Leica RTC360 captures the building at sub-millimetre resolution, producing a dense point cloud of every surface. Any areas the scanner cannot reach — tight voids, service ducts, external details — are picked up by hand measurement.
We draw
Drawings are produced in AutoCAD from the registered point cloud. Every line traces a real measurement. Floor plans, sections, elevations and roof plans are all checked against the scan data before being signed off.
We deliver
The full drawing set is issued within 5 working days of survey, accompanied by a declared accuracy statement. Revit models, PDF sets and point cloud data are available as additional deliverables on request.
