The process

How it works.

We review
Before attending site we request any available drawings, planning history and previous survey reports. Understanding a building's history helps us identify where problems are most likely to be hiding.
We inspect
Our surveyor carries out a systematic inspection of the entire external envelope — every elevation, the roof (by drone where direct access isn't possible), windows, rainwater goods, drainage and substructure. Nothing is skipped.
We document
Every defect is photographed, described and graded: urgent action required, short-term attention needed, or planned maintenance. Budget remediation costs are assigned to each item.
We report
A structured written report aligned to RICS guidance is issued within 5 working days. It includes the full photographic schedule, priority matrix, budget costs and a 5-year planned maintenance programme.
